Gifts For Pet Lovers
Everyone knows at least one person who is a dyed-in-the-wool animal lover. Dog lovers, cat lovers--they all have one thing in common: total devotion. One of my best friends, who is a self-described "dog person" has a birthday coming up. In my search for the perfect gift for her, it occurred to me that some of you might need gift ideas for the critter enthusiasts in your lives, so here are my "pet picks."
Grooming is very important for pets to look and feel their best. Our set of two brushes is adjustable for long or short coats. The soft bristles massage your pet and won't irritate even sensitive skin. The best thing about these brushes is the one-touch cleaning button that releases all the accumulated hair and dirt. It even has a trimmer attachment to remove knots, fur balls, tar, gum--whatever the little rascal gets into. Nail grooming might be the toughest grooming job of all. Most people are afraid to cut their pet's nails because regular clippers can cause splitting and cracking and it's hard to know how much to cut. The PediPaws trimmer has a rotating emery head that gently files (instead of cutting) nails to a smooth rounded finish without hurting those precious paws. Plus, it has a cap that catches the filings so there's no mess.
Ever wonder what our four-legged friends are up to when we're away? Capture their antics with a pet's-eye view camera. This lightweight digital camera attaches to the collar and captures images of their daily activities. Dog in your bed while you're gone? Busted! Cat stalking the fish tank? Busted! Dog and cat curled up together for a nap in the afternoon? How cute! You can set it for one, five or fifteen minute intervals with the built in timer. It stores up to 40 printable 4"x6" images.
Every pet enthusiast loves to show their affection to the world and what better way than with a t-shirt that declares their adoration publicly? For dog hounds, my favorites are: "When I Die The Dog Gets Everything," "Love Me, Love My Dog" and "I Work Hard So My Dog Can Have A Better Life."
For feline fans, my favorites are: "If I Want To Hear the Pitter Patter of Little Feet, I'll Put Shoes on My Cat," "Don't Like My Attitude? Call 1-800-Get-A-Dog," and "Women & Cats Will Do As They Please..."
I hope this helps you find that perfect prize for the pet people in your life.
